Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

It includes properties of sound waves, interaction of ultrasound with matter and boundaries, types of probes, test techniques, test equipment, instrumentation, test variables, inspection procedures and types of discontinuities. NDT Trainers with real-time field experience in inspection of specialized weld inspection applications will teach the subject. The program consists of in-depth study about interpretation of applicable codes related to these types of joints, practical sessions, and technical discussions to quickly bring the students for easy understanding the subject. Exam will be comprised of General theory, Specific Theory & Practical the exam to obtain UT certification. UT LEVEL II – 12 days Training & 2 days will be for exam Once the 80 hours training have been obtained.

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTG)

UTG is a non-destructive testing technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to measure the thickness of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. It is fast, reliable, and versatile, and unlike a micrometre or calliper it requires access to only one side of the test piece. A thickness gauge is useful for many industries but is most used in engineering and manufacturing to help ensure material thickness complies with industrial standards and regulations.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

It includes basics of magnetism, magnetisation techniques, types of currents, inspection mediums, inspection techniques, test equipment’s & accessories, demagnetisation, types of indications, manufacturing processes and types of discontinuities. MT Level II – 4 days Training & 1 day for exam Once the 20 hours training have been obtained.Exam will be comprised of General theory, Specific Theory & Practical.

Radiographic Testing

industrial radiography is a modality of non-destructive testing that uses ionizing radiation to inspect materials and components with the objective of locating and quantifying defects and degradation in material properties that would lead to the failure of engineering structures. It includes nuclear physics, interaction of radiation with matter, shielding, radiation detectors, biological effects, radiation protection, basic safety rules, sources of radiation and their characteristics, film construction and film processing.

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

It includes basics of penetrant testing, penetrant groups, pre-cleaning methods, penetrant removal techniques, types of developers and application procedures, inspection procedures, sensitivity & resolution concepts, accessories, and types of discontinuities. This non-destructive testing technique, also known as liquid penetrant inspection (LPI), is a cost-effective method used to locate surface breaking flaws such as cracks, porosity, laps, seams, and other surface discontinuities.
